T2 Tray-Sealing Machine Runs Six Cycles A Minute

Proseal has introduced a hand operated, fully portable tray-sealing machine for small-scale usage. The new T2 has been developed for trials and development work, smaller production runs or for use in food shops and delicatessens. Featuring a manual film-feed system, the T2 is capable of up to six cycles per minute. It is supplied with a flat-seal profile and film-cutting blade as standard.

The T2 incorporates a simple tool-change system. This allows many different tray sizes to be used, providing the necessary flexibility for product testing purposes or where multiple products are sold and sealed individually in a variety of pack formats. The machine features the same rugged construction as all Proseal equipment, ensuring long-term ease of use and reliability. It also delivers the same seal force as any fully automatic Proseal machine to ensure excellent seal quality every time.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
