Kason Brochure Details Centrifugal Screener Range

Kason has released a six-page Centri-Sifter brochure that details centrifugal screeners for sifting, scalping, de-lumping and dewatering of bulk solid materials and solids-laden slurries. The brochure features the Quick-Clean designs with two- or three-bearing cantilevered shafts that allow the screen and paddle assembly to slide freely from the shaft through a hinged door for rapid screen changes and thorough cleaning.

Also covered are: standard gravity-fed centrifugal screeners for sifting, scalping, de-lumping and dewatering at high rates; dedicated centrifugal dewatering screeners for maximum moisture extraction; pneumatic-sifter centrifugal screeners for in-line operation with dilute-phase pneumatic conveying systems; centrifugal screeners with bag dump stations; and miniature centrifugal screeners for small batches of contamination-sensitive products.

Twelve case history synopses outline typical food, chemical, mineral plastics and general applications ranging in capacity from 0.25 to 50 tons/h for bulk solids, and 5-400gal/min (20-1,800 litre/min) for slurries. The company also manufactures circular vibratory screeners, static sieves, and circular fluid bed dryers, coolers and moisturisers.
