Chip-On-Board LEDs Provide Brighter Illuminations
Multipix Imaging is offering Stockeryale's LED lighting. Stockeryale's LED chip-on-board approach to LED module fabrication yields an unbroken line of semiconductor light source, resulting in an extremely high level of uniformity. The combination of this superior uniformity and high intensity results in crystal-clear linescan images. Stockeryale recently introduced the Cobra Slim linescan Illumination, dubbed chip-on-board reflective array (Cobra).
It provides high brightness illumination ideal for linescan and web inspection. The Cobra Linescan Illumination outperforms halogen and fluorescent line lighting, while offering the advantages of LEDs, including long lifetime, controllability and increased reliability. The Lotus LED lighting also provides an alternative solution to fluorescent illumination used in a variety of machine-vision applications.
The Lotus utilises this LED technology combined with an integrated optical system to produce high-performance line lights. The flexible design makes the Lotus compatible with both back-lighting and front-lighting web applications, providing a broad and uniform beam that is consistent across webs as wide as five metres.
