Panton Performs Underwater Clean At Aquarium

Panton McLeod has performed an underwater clean at The Deep aquarium in Hull , in order to remove sand and fine gravel from two inlet pipes leading to the facility's main water tank. The company used pumping equipment and knowledge from its work in the drinking-water sector to remove the blockages, including water-hammer techniques to dislodge some of the hard-to-reach debris.

The work follows an inspection of the facility earlier this year, when the firm used its underwater camera equipment to inspect pipework leading into the tank for damage.
