Unicut To Demonstrate One-Hit Machining Capability
Unicut Precision will demonstrate its 'one-hit' single-cycle machining and subassembly capability at the upcoming Mach 2010 exhibition, which will take place at the NEC in Birmingham.
According to the company, which will be found within the BTMA Pavilion in Hall 5, its one-hit single-cycle machining and subassembly capability is based on a production shop solely equipped with 21 Citizen CNC sliding-head turn-mill centres with a capacity of up to 32mm in diameter and three Miyano multi-axis fixed-head turning centres with a capacity of up to 64mm in diameter. Visitors to Unicut's stand will be able to view one of the latest Citizen sliding-head machines in action and learn about the installed OGP Smartscope non-contact, one-hit measuring technology employed at the Welwyn Garden City factory.
