Laidler Joins PPMA For Packaging Exhibit
As its official partner for regulatory affairs, the Laidler Group will be supporting PPMA (Process and Packaging Machinery Association) at the next Total Processing and Packaging exhibition. Experts from Laidler Associates, a UK-based safety and compliance consultancy, will join those from Safety Systems, the independent machinery safety design and installation specialist, on the PPMA stand (number 5532), where they will be available to answer questions.
The Laidler Group is the PPMA's preferred supplier of technical consultancy services relating to regulatory matters and as such it offers a range of advisory and consulting services including free telephone/email support for members of the PPMA. Visitors to the stand will be able to pick up a free copy of the book 'A Practical Guide to Machinery Safety' as well as learn about the Mcom risk management software system.
The latest version of the Mcom software has been updated to cover the requirements of the new Machinery Directive, 2006/42/EC, while other enhancements include an option for users to decide whether they work to ISO EN 13849-1 or EN954-1 for the safety of machinery.
