JBJ Screw Pumps Handle High-Viscosity Fluids
JBJ Techniques is offering a range of screw pumps that are claimed to be beneficial when used in hazardous areas. The PCX Series screw pump meets the demand for pumps for low/medium-pressure lubrication circuits requiring API 676 II ed or Atex Zone 0 or Zone 1 certification. These screw pumps are made from carbon steel as standard and can be made from other materials upon request, with ANSI In/Out ports or DIN also available upon request.
The pumps have both axial or radial inlet ports making them suitable for a wide range of lubrication applications. They offer high-viscosity fluid capabilities and noise suppression due to air bubbles entrapped in the pumped fluid. JBJ said that key features of the PCX Series screw pumps include: low noise level; extremely low pulsations by the pumped fluid; self-priming capability; optimal performances even with fluid with entrapped air; no pollutant release in the pumped media; and low maintenance.
