Harwin To Demonstrate Interconnection System

Harwin has announced that it will be exhibiting at the Aircraft Interiors Exhibition, Hamburg Mess, from 18-20 May 2010. The company said it will be demonstrating its Datamate 2mm interconnection system that is suitable for ultra-high-reliability applications but priced in-line with commercial products. Datamate is already used in aircraft applications including control systems as well as in-flight entertainment products.

'Datamate is capable of ensuring signal continuity even in circumstances where high shock and vibration are experienced, which makes it a good fit for aircraft applications,' said Wolfgang Pohl, German sales manager. 'It is also capable of carrying signal, power and coax in one housing, which may be of interest to designers looking to save space, weight and cost,' he added.
