Flir Provides Free Online Infrared Image Analysis
Flir has added the Webviewer to its website, which enables users to evaluate infrared images online. This means that even without dedicated camera software, visitors can upload an image for analysis. The Flir Webviewer also allows measurement tools to be created, moved and deleted.
Users can change colour palettes, access details of camera properties and choose the most appropriate temperature-measurement scale. Adjusted images can then be saved to the PC for attachment to an email or incorporation into a report. The online tool provides five image examples with which the user can experiment - a volcano, heating pipes, a power line, a row of parked cars and a building interior.
