ERI Course Explains Pyrotechnic Shock Testing
The Equipment Reliability Institute (ERI) has announced a short course in Pyrotechnic Shock Testing, Measurement, Analysis and Calibration, in Santa Clarita, California, from 12-14 October 2010. The course is designed for technical people ranging from test technicians to test engineers, to design engineers to senior scientists, who need to understand and safely conduct tests utilising (or at least simulating) explosions.
These technicians will also need to measure, record and analyse what happens to test hardware during and immediately after those brief events. The instructor is Vladimir Valentekovich and the host is National Technical Systems (NTS).
