RoSPA To Promote Health-And-Safety Management

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has confirmed its presence at Drives and Controls and the Plant and Works Exhibition and is now working in association with the events. The key aim of the registered charity is to promote safety and the prevention of accidents at work, at leisure, on the road, in the home and through safety education.

Visitors to the events, which take place on 8-10 June at the NEC in Birmingham, will be able to talk to the RoSPA about all aspects of health-and-safety management. RoSPA staff will be on hand to offer guidance about engaging everyone in the management of health and safety - regardless of the size or type of company. There will be details of the full range of the RoSPA's services and products, including options for safety professionals and reps, directors and senior managers and the wider workforce.

Smaller companies might be interested in the RoSPA's 'core criteria' services - including training courses, workshops, e-learning packages, guidance books, mentoring, health-and-safety reviews and training-needs analyses - based on the findings of an inquiry into the health-and-safety assistance needed by small and medium-sized enterprises. Drives and Controls and the Plant and Works Exhibition will take place alongside the International Fluid Power Exhibition (IFPEX), Air-Tech, Mach and Subcon.
