CPS Launches Corob Innovatint Tinting Software

CPS Color has launched the Corob Innovatint tinting software, which is claimed to be simple to operate and navigate. Corob Innovatint will be officially introduced at the Middle East Coatings Show in Dubai on 29 March 2010. The software works by highlighting the important steps of the tinting process. By walking the user step by step through the tinting process, paint professionals can achieve accurate colour in every tint, according to the company.

Corob Innovatint also enables data-tracking opportunities. Real-time data transfer across networks allows customer purchase information to be saved, tracked, shared and accessed from multiple store locations. CPS claims that data collection and tracking improve business analysis and enhanced marketing efforts. Local trends can be identified and product or colour offerings can be tailored accordingly.

FUSE SIZING CONSIDERATIONS FOR HIGHER EFFICIENCY MOTORS

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
