Chadwicks Launches Sleeve 3D Proofing Software

Chadwicks has launched the Quadraxis Sleeve 3D proofing software in the UK. The company can now offer its customers a preview solution for visualising finished shrink-sleeve products prior to production. Sleeve 3D Version 4 provides a conceptual service for the creation and personalisation of sleeves, facilitating the design stage and the speed of turnarounds on projects.

The 3D proofing software demonstrates how the customer's artwork can be manipulated prior to the sleeving process to ensure that any post-production distortion effects are eliminated and that designs that are applied appear exactly how the customer expects them to. The software, developed by Quadraxis, has been created to enrich graphic designs and achieve maximum printing surface on containers, allowing customers to make the most of their packaging.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
