Hygienic Pt100 Probe Sensors with 4-Wire Connection

Fast response times, certified for the food industry and with a high protection rating: The new hygienic Pt100
probe sensors from ifm electronic are ideally suited for precise temperature measurements in food applications.
The sensors have a 6 mm thin sensor tip that guarantees an excellent response time of T05 = 1 s and T09 = 3 s while ensuring high stability.

Thus, even the smallest temperature changes can be detected in a very short time enabling optimum process monitoring. Thanks to their high-grade stainless steel housing, the sensors are extremely robust and have a pressure rating of up to 160 bar. Moreover, they are certified by EHEDG and 3-A Sanitary Standards and can be used internationally in the food industry. The measuring range covers -40 to 150 °C. The accuracy of the stainless steel vers ions is compliant with DIN EN 60571, class A.

Adaptation of the sensors is just as simple: The types TM48 and TM49 need no separate process adapter. They are directly fitted with a 1...1.5" or a 2" clamp process connection. The TTx291 version can be easily fixed using a clamp fitting. In combination with the high protection rating IP 68 / IP 69K the sensors can be used in many different applications of industrial process control. Different control monitors with switching and analogue outputs are available for signal processing.
