Evaluation Kit for SDP6xx Series Differential Pressure Sensors

Our new evaluation kit EK-P3 enables easy, quick and economical real-time testing and evaluation of the very popular differential pressure sensors in the digital SDP6xx series. The EK-P3 evaluation kit consists of a USB stick that is connected to the SDP610 by an adapter cable.

After installing the software available for free download on our website – a simple five-step process – you can test the differential pressure sensors under real-world conditions. There’s no need to program a microcontroller, and the readings are shown directly on the monitor of your personal computer. The test program also allows the data to export to an Excel file for easy saving and further processing.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
