Schneider Electric Extends Microsoft Azure Cloud Collabortation to Wiser Air Smart Thermostats

Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, today announced an extension of its collaboration with Microsoft Azure to provide the cloud platform for all Wiser Air™ smart thermostats.

The collaboration will help to protect customer user data from potential security threats such as hackers or viruses aimed at collecting personal data.

The Wi-Fi connected thermostat and demand response management system (DRMS) designed for utilities, builders, and their residential customers is the latest software solution to leverage Azure to provide improved security, scalability, reliability and energy efficiency.
