Chromalox Introduces XtremeDuty™ Platform

Chromalox, a leading manufacturer of advanced thermal technologies, today announced the availability of the XtremeDuty technology platform, a suite of custom engineered thermal solutions that feature engineering, material and proprietary control technologies. The platform is designed to stand up to the most extreme environmental and process conditions present in many areas of the world.

The suite of products includes industrial heaters and systems, heat trace cables and accessories, and heating components that provide customized, reliable and safe solutions that match the requirements brought on by any extreme or hazardous climate or process. All products meet strict third party-certifications and listings, including CE, IEC, ATEX, UL, CSA, FM, DNV and EAC.

“The XtremeDuty platform is a product of our commitment to innovation,” said Troy Dixon, Vice President of Marketing & Business Development. “It is the industry’s first product platform specifically designed to address risk, downtime, maintenance, operating costs and safety needs specific to extreme environmental and process applications.”

In conjunction with the XtremeDuty Platform launch, Chromalox released a six-page white paper presenting the benefits of the new technology platform specifically designed for extreme environmental and process conditions.

The paper provides an overview on the need for practical equipment that can combat common pain points while withstanding extreme conditions in industrial markets like power generation, oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical to name a few. The white paper also elaborates on variables to consider when engineering heating systems that are relied upon to minimize downtime and keep critical processes running.

TURCK M8 CORDSETS WITH 100 PERCENT SHIELDING OPTION PROTECT AGAINST EMI/RFI

TURCK is now offering the option to completely shield M8 picofast ® cordsets by connecting a braided shield directly to the coupling nut. This provides a cost-effective and reliable connection with 100 percent cable and connector shielding, which protects against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.

The 3 and 4-pin cordsets are available with flexlife ® PVC or PUR jacketed cable. All connectors deliver IEC IP 67 protection.
