i.MX 6UltraLite Applications Processors

Expanding the i.MX 6 series, Freescale's i.MX 6UltraLite is a high performance, ultra-efficient processor family featuring an advanced implementation of a single ARM Cortex-A7 core, which operates at speeds up to 528 MHz. The i.MX 6UltraLite applications processor includes an integrated power management module that reduces the complexity of external power supply and simplifies power sequencing. Each processor in this family provides various memory interfaces, including 16-bit LPDDR2, DDR3, DDR3L, raw and managed NAND Flash, NOR Flash, eMMC, Quad SPI, and a wide range of other interfaces for connecting peripherals such as WLAN, Bluetooth™, GPS, displays, and camera sensors. The i.MX 6UltraLite can be powered by a discrete power circuit.

Features
  •     ARM Cortex-A7 at up to 528 MHz
  •     An advanced power management architecture featuring multiple energy saving modes, dynamic voltage and frequency scaling, as well as integrated power switch for flexible power gating in low-power modes
  •     Flexible boot options, including support for Quad SPI and raw NAND
  •     A memory controller that interfaces to both DDR3/DDR3L and LPDDR2
  •     Robust security features such as secure boot, hardware cryptographic cipher engines and random number generators help enable hardware-verified peripheral and memory access requests for secure isolation and prevention of tainted system resources
  •     Hardware tamper detection and an integrated on-the-fly DRAM encryption/decryption engine make the i.MX 6UltraLite among the most secure ARM Cortex-A7 microprocessor solutions available
  •     Processor supports a variety of interfaces: two high-speed USB OTG with PHY, multiple expansion card ports (high-speed MMC/SDIO host and other), two 12-bit ADC modules with up to 10 total input channels, two CAN ports, two smart card interfaces compatible with EMV Standard v4.3, and a variety of other popular interfaces (such as UART, I²C, and I²S serial audio)
  •     Two package offerings: 14 x 14 0.8 mm pitch for ease of design and 9 x 9 0.5 mm pitch for space constrained applications.
  •     Common IP with i.MX6 for easy migration
