With the PFC200 XTR Controller, WAGO offers a rugged device that is second to none and excels in extreme environments. Needing no additional protective equipment, the controller defies temperature fluctuations of -40 to +70 °C, has extreme resistance to impulse voltage up to 5 kV, is immune to interference and vibration-proof up to 5g.

Embedded Linux is available for users who are ready to take complete control and prefer the direct use of a lean and secure operating system. This real-time Linux software provides a wide range of advantages, including the flexibility of using “open source” code that adapts the source code to a user's specific needs at any time. Another huge advantage: Extend the functionality of your control application on the PFC200 by integrating open source packages or with external CODESYS libraries in the base image.

Its e!RUNTIME environment based on CODESYS 3 and real-time-capable Linux® operating system make the PFC200 XTR the efficient control system for your automation tasks – including locations that demand more than a typical automation system can provide. The PFC200 XTR Controller also stands apart because it packs dual operating systems. Choose to use the e!COCKPIT engineering software based on CODESYS 3 or WAGO-I/O-PRO based on CODESYS 2 to design your projects.

PFC200 XTR variants can also serve as telecontrollers. They support the DNP3 communication standard in addition to the IEC 60870-5-101, -103, -104, IEC 61850 and IEC 61400-25 standards. Even the available interfaces signal how flexible the PFC200 XTR Controllers truly are. Two versions are available with different communication interface configurations: either two ETHERNET connections and an RS-232/RS-485 interface or two ETHERNET connections, RS-232/RS-485, CAN, CANopen and PROFIBUS DP Slave interfaces.

TURCK is now offering the option to completely shield M8 picofast ® cordsets by connecting a braided shield directly to the coupling nut. This provides a cost-effective and reliable connection with 100 percent cable and connector shielding, which protects against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.

The 3 and 4-pin cordsets are available with flexlife ® PVC or PUR jacketed cable. All connectors deliver IEC IP 67 protection.

The M8 picofast line, like most TURCK cordsets, provides male or female, straight and right angle connectors, standard and custom lengths, and pigtails or extensions. Fully encapsulated mating receptacles are also offered, completing the system.
