Cree introduces its XLamp XQ-E high-intensity LEDs, built on SC5 Technology™ platform

Available in white and color, the XQ-E high-intensity LEDs are Cree's smallest high-intensity LEDs. They are optimized to deliver maximum candelas through secondary optics, enabling lighting manufacturers to radically reduce system size and power of high-intensity color applications. Built on Cree’s breakthrough SC5 Technology™ platform, the XQ-E high-intensity LED offers a drop-in ready upgrade for XQ-E high-density designs enabling lighting manufacturers to dramatically improve candela performance with minimal redesign to accelerate time to market. The XQ-E’s combination of optical symmetry, consistent design across all configurations and tiny 1.6 mm x 1.6 mm footprint simplifies manufacturing and design while providing excellent color mixing.
