ABAS Showcases ERP Software At Cebit 2010

ABAS Software has announced that it will exhibit the latest innovations for its ERP, PPC, MRP and e-business software at Cebit 2010 on 2-6 March in Hanover, Germany. Focus will be placed on innovations in areas including ABAS Infosystems, customer relationship management (CRM), shipping and sales planning, as well as new e-business applications. ABAS Infosystems are navigation platforms to efficiently handle business processes. Processes can be created, managed and controlled from one screen, from quote to invoice. ABAS said its business software provides users with expanded CRM functionality, and it is possible to record, evaluate and process 'opportunities' in sales. A new Infosystem 'opportunities overview' provides an overview of all sales projects at the click of a button. Tasks can be delegated directly from the screen and activity notes on customers and prospects can be created and classified. The look and feel of ABAS web components have been further optimised, with internationally applicable standards now being used.

In addition, there are also new standard applications available, for example, service, scanner connection, spare parts catalogue, vendor connection, product valuation, online exchange of business processes with vendors and web EDI integration of vendors. Shipping planning in ABAS business software has also been further developed. It is now possible to create mixed palettes, calculate packaging material and carry out packaging material plausibility checks. ABAS business software projects sales forecasts based on historical values. Material planning then determines the resulting material requirement. Due to rolling planning, the preview in purchasing and sales is always up-to-date. New functions optimise search comfort in ABAS business software. Users are now supported by a structured or an unstructured full text search and manifold sorting options when wanting to quickly find data. The ABAS search engine is similar to established internet search engines and can be used immediately.
