Comark Introduces 17in Industrial Computer

Comark has released a 17in (43cm) version of its Induview NEMA 12 industrial computer line. The Induview is a rugged, lightweight, all-in-one computer that can withstand circulating dust, falling dirt and dripping non-corrosive liquids. Improved features include an operating temperature range of 0-50C, Pentium M, Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad processing options, 160Gb or more hard drives and up to 32Gb of compact flash.

This 17in workstation can be configured with an infrared touch screen, a resistive touch screen or standard safety glass and can also be mounted in a variety of ways, with or without a keyboard and tray. The enclosure's front bezel hinges down, simplifying access to the internal computer components if needed. According to Tom Burke, industrial automation sales manager, the NEMA 12 design is suitable for any application needing a ruggedised solution where dust, dirt and moisture are a problem.
