Atlas Copco Expands Its Hydraulic CombiCutter Line with The CC 4700

The CC 4700 follows the design of the entire hydraulic demolition cutter range of Atlas Copco . The system of two articulated jaws and two lifting cylinders offers a constantly high crushing force. And the combination of single and twin blade jaws enables maximum stability under extreme loads. Universal jaws (U-version) and Steel cutting jaws (S-version) are available.

Cutter jaws are stably mounted on a central main pin, reducing the time required for changing jaws by up to 75 %. Both jaws can be fitted and removed as a unit, because CAPS, (Coupling and Positioning System), links the two together even after removal.

Cutter jaws can be changed on site. The practical wear parts concept also saves time: crusher teeth and cutting blades can be turned or changed quickly and easily on site. “ We found that about two-thirds of the operating costs of an attachment arise from factors such as energy, operator costs, service and maintenance, and only one-third from the investment costs ” adds Wolfgang Hohn, “ With the CC 4700 we are focusing on these consequential costs .”
