OK International to Highlight Production Assembly Technology Advances at MD&M/Electronics West 2011

The OK International team is preparing to take its range of soldering and production assembly technologies to this year’s Medical Design & Manufacturing / Electronics West exhibition, taking place February 8th – 10th 2011 in Anaheim, California. OK International will be showcasing a range of industry-leading technologies at booth # 421, including advanced soldering, desoldering and rework systems, programmable pre-heaters and a comprehensive range of dispensing technologies.

The OK International technologies on display at MD&M West 2011 will highlight the company’s commitment to reducing customers’ training investment, extending application possibilities and enhancing productivity. One example of a product delivering those advantages is the sophisticated APR-5000-DZ Array Package Rework System, on display at booth 421. The advanced platform enables the simultaneous use of inner and outer preheaters which increase the productivity of the unit by reducing rework cycle time. A lowered nozzle temperature protects components under rework to achieve the same required temperature with solder joints or balls and reducing BGA lid temperatures – a major advantage for today’s production professionals.

Also on display at booth # 421, OK International's MRS-1000 Modular Rework System is a powerful, high accuracy benchtop solution ideal for processes requiring precise control such as the removal of delicate miniature SMT components. As well as these products MD&M/Electronics West 2011 will also feature the Metcal MX-5000 Soldering, Desoldering and Rework System. A high performance system for complex assembly challenges, the MX-5000 combines increased power with the company’s exclusive SmartHeat® Technology to eliminate overshoot potential and maintain high productivity soldering and rework. Commanding high throughput and precision control, the MX-5000 also incorporates a built-in digital power indication display for continuous operator feedback and consistent, quality solder joints.

We would love for you to see these technologies in action first hand. Visit OK International Booth # 421 at MD&M/Electronics West for your chance to get hands on with the products.
