TotalTV Allows Visitors To View Exhibitor Products

A new online television channel launched for this year's Total Processing and Packaging exhibition at the NEC in May is designed to enable visitors to view exhibitor products. The TotalTV facility features live videos of the technologies that exhibitors will be demonstrating at the show, enabling visitors to get an idea of their applications and potential prior to targeting the companies at the event for face-to-face discussions and to obtain further information.

Exhibitors already featured on TotalTV include Adelphi Masterfil, Fanuc Robotics Europe, Plexpack, Sepha, Russell Finex, Excel Packaging Machinery, Burkert Fluid Control Systems, NMC, Ambaflex Speciality Conveyors, CAD Schroer UK, BBK Labelling and Coding Solutions, K-Tron Great Britain, Rembe and VC999 Packaging Systems. Online visitor registration, which is now open, will enable free and fast entry into the exhibition on the day. The website also contains information on visitor attractions, what will be on at the show and travel and accommodation advice.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
