Iphone App Uses Dassault's 3DVIA Technologies

Mydeco and Dassault Systemes have launched the Furnish Your Photo Iphone application, which enables users to choose from hundreds of 3D models of furniture to add to their photo. The app is designed to help users visualise how a new sofa, table or even chandelier might look in their room.

Users can choose from 500 3D models of real pieces of furniture and Mydeco plans to expand the range to include approximately 75,000 3D models from a catalogue of more than five million furniture items already available on mydeco.com. Once added to any photo, the 3D furniture models can be spun around, moved up, down, forwards and backwards to give a realistic photo-quality image of the item in any room. The furnished photo can be saved and shared according to user preferences.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
