IMC Plans Seminar On Coriolis Meter Applications

The Wessex Section of The Institute of Measurement and Control will present a seminar entitled 'Using Straight Tube Coriolis Meters in Chemical / Oil and Gas Applications'. This will take place on 21 April 2010 at The Forest Lodge Hotel near Lyndhurst, followed by a buffet and social opportunity to meet the local IMC members.

David Hopper, a product-support specialist with Krohne, will deliver the presentation, which will detail how modern straight-tube Coriolis meters can be used in the chemical and oil and gas industries.

It will cover: how a straight-tube Coriolis meter works; single straight-tube meter applications; corrosive applications; dual straight-tube meter applications; and large line sizes. This workshop is one of a series that will be offered by the Wessex Section of the IMC. It will provide a relaxed setting for learning, socialising and networking. The event is open to all and free to attend.
