Baumer Releases Submersible Pressure Sensor

Baumer's ED752 pressure transmitter is suitable for all kinds of hydrostatic level and depth measurement. In case of a signal drift, the zero point can be recalibrated. The device is characterised by high accuracy and long-term stability. It is suitable for applications in drinking-water supply, hydroelectric power plants, flood protection and wastewater; pools, reservoirs, lakes and rivers; shipbuilding; and industrial applications such as pump controls.

The ED752's accuracy is 0.1 per cent FS, and its long-term stability is 0.1 per cent per year. The measuring range can be parameterised, which allows an adaptation to customer-specific surroundings. In its standard version, the ED752 is made entirely of stainless steel, but it is also available in a Hastelloy C version especially suitable for seawater. For applications in the shipbuilding industry, the device is available with a Lloyd's approval.

Furthermore, the ED752 can be delivered in an Atex version for applications in hazardous areas up to Zone 0. The transmitter is available with several output signals (4-20mA, 0-10V DC and 0-5V DC) and cable types (PUR and PTFE). It complies with the protection class IP68.
