Photron Offers Advanced Software Functionality for High Speed Camera Control and Slow Motion Video Replay

Photron has added a device controller software development kit (SDK) for both MathWorks MATLAB® and National Instruments LabVIEW® to the Photron FASTCAM Viewer (PFV) software package. The new PFV functionality integrates control of Photron's extensive range of high speed cameras with the customer's existing MATLAB® and LabVIEW® functionality, enabling seamless high speed image acquisition and download.

These SDK's compliment Photron's intuitive Photron Fastcam Viewer which provides easy access to integrate complex functionality with the camera's ability to capture, replay, and produce high speed image sequences in industry standard file formats including AVI, MOV, TIFF (8 or 16 bit), JPEG, BMP, PNG, RAW, and RAWW (native camera file format).
