THE NEW PICO (M8) CONNECTOR GENERATION

Lumberg Automation, a Belden Brand introduces a new generation of Pico (M8) over-molded cordsets for actuator/sensor applications. This new generation of cordsets will replace the previous offered line of Pico (M8) over-molded cordsets.

The primary reason for the design change was to improve the quality and production of the product by eliminating cold solder joints and replacing them with a crimp mounting process. An optimized insert and a metal screw thread have special contours to ensure optimal networking and the best possible anti-twist protection, while the base of the molded body provides for flexible kink protection. The products have an IP 67 / IP 68 protection rating.

These connectors are ideally suited for small assembly machinery and work very well with the line of Pico (M8) Distribution Boxes released in 2006. Connector configurations include: 3-, 4-, and 8-Pole Male or Female, Straight or 90°, Snap-In or Ratchet Type. Cable options include: PVC or PUR Halogen Free.
