Teledyne Relays Announces Three-Phase Hockey-Puck SSR For Industrial Applications

Teledyne Relays today introduced a new three-phase solid-state relay for industrial applications requiring efficient switching, compact size and low cost. The Series S3P relays are made up of three separate relays controlled by a common DC voltage control. They are designed to control up to 10A AC loads on line voltages to 440 Vac, according to Antonio Gallegos, product marketing engineer.

The Series S3P relays feature an industry-standard hockey-puck package, spring connector wire termination and DC control with zero-cross switching. Cage clamps are used to attach the spring connectors.

The hockey-puck package, including the connectors, measures 1.87 x 1.75 x 1.14 inches (47.6 x 44.5 x 29 mm) and weighs 3.527 ounces (100g). Pricing is $41.80 in quantities of 500 units. Lead time for delivery is stock to eight weeks.
