Laird Technologies Presented with Best Practices & Innovation in HR Award

Laird Technologies, Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of customized performance-critical components and systems for advanced electronics and wireless products, today announced it is a recipient of the Best Practices & Innovation in HR Award presented by China Human Resources Management Research Institute. Laird Technologies was one of ten companies to receive the award which was presented at a ceremony in Shanghai, China on June 29, 2012.

Laird Technologies received the award for successful implementation of Chinese human resources and payroll management software. Evaluators from the China Human Resources Management Research Institute were impressed by the support from top management for the project along with the company’s flexibility in applying the software across multiple sites. 

“We are very honored to be recognized for this project,” said Carolyn Koenig, Chief Human Resources Executive of Laird Technologies. “Our global HR team works hard to ensure we are providing the best service and information to all of our employees across all of our sites.” 

Frank Zuo, HR Systems Manager for Laird Technologies explained, “We had excellent support from top management. They recognized the importance of implementing this software across multiple sites. We were able to maintain control over the project while creating a centralized location for HR information.” 

In addition to the award, Laird Technologies will also be featured in a book of the same title “Best Practices & Innovation in HR.”  The book is a collection of case studies based on the best practices by the ten companies who received the award.
