Teledyne Relays Announces New Family Of PCB-Mount DC Solid-State Relays

Teledyne Relays today introduced its new Series LSD PCB-mount, DC solid-state relays. These relays feature a slim compact design, which occupies minimum board space, and a thermally conductive metal base for heat sinking capabilities.

The LSD relays provide a MOSFET output with 10A 60Vdc capability and offer integrated voltage protection (clamp). The Series LSD relays also offer high surge handling capability.

The size and power handling capabilities provide benefits for applications such as test equipment, solenoid control and motor control, according to Antonio Gallegos, applications engineer.

One version features a control range of 3 to 10 Vdc, while another spans 7 to 30 Vdc.

The LSD relay measures 1.72 x 0.96 x 0.25 inches (43.6 x 24.5 x 6.3 mm), excluding leads, and weighs 0.53 ounces (15g).
