New 18" Deep Pick Rack: Exclusively from Akro-Mils

Akro-Mils, a North American leader in storage, organization and transport products, announces new 18" Deep Pick Racks that provide additional options in rack and bin systems. These systems, which feature angled shelves for easy access and visibility of parts and supplies, are ideal for 5S Lean and other productivity initiatives. The first and only 18" pick racks in the industry, these new racks provide up to 50 percent more storage capacity than 12" deep pick racks.

The new systems, which include Single-Sided, Double-Sided and Mobile options, continue Akro-Mils’ tradition of providing heavy-duty pick racks constructed of 16-gauge steel that offer convenient, high-density storage. The 18" Deep Pick Racks have a weight capacity of more than 100 lbs. per shelf when secured to a wall or floor. The single-sided rack has a total capacity of 900 lbs. and the double-sided rack has an 1,800-lb. capacity. The double-sided rack, when used with the optional heavy-duty Mobile Kit, also has an 1,800-lb. weight capacity.

Akro-Mils 18" Deep Pick Racks are available separately or packaged with industry-leading Shelf Bins, and innovative new products such as ShelfMax® 6" High Bins, Indicator® Two-Toned Bins, AkroDrawers® and System Bins™. Akro-Mils pick racks improve workspace organization and efficiency in a variety of settings — from industrial to healthcare.

TURCK M8 CORDSETS WITH 100 PERCENT SHIELDING OPTION PROTECT AGAINST EMI/RFI

TURCK is now offering the option to completely shield M8 picofast ® cordsets by connecting a braided shield directly to the coupling nut. This provides a cost-effective and reliable connection with 100 percent cable and connector shielding, which protects against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.

The 3 and 4-pin cordsets are available with flexlife ® PVC or PUR jacketed cable. All connectors deliver IEC IP 67 protection.

The M8 picofast line, like most TURCK cordsets, provides male or female, straight and right angle connectors, standard and custom lengths, and pigtails or extensions. Fully encapsulated mating receptacles are also offered, completing the system.
