L-com's Horizon Interactive Award Win the Latest in a Long List of Awards

L-com, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, has won a bronze Horizon Interactive award in the 2011 competition.  The award, which recognizes excellence in the design and programming of interactive media, was also given to highly praised websites such as AmericanEagle.com and GarretPopcorn.com.

Though this is the first Horizon Interactive award L-com has won, the company has won many other prestigious awards in the past twelve months, including a gold Stevie® award for Sales and Customer Service, and three silver Communicator Awards for L-com's website and catalog. The Horizon Interactive award joins an impressive list of honors for everything from products to service to design. So far in 2012, L-com has won nearly as many awards in the first six months as it had in the entire year of 2011, which was itself a big year in awards for L-com.

"The Horizon Interactive award is deeply prestigious and is alone an indicator of our efforts to provide an excellent user experience," said Chris Long, L-com's SVP of Marketing and Ecommerce. "But the big picture, the long list of honors and the fact that we are getting more and more recently, shows something else: that L-com is truly a pillar of its industry, successfully competing using all of its business facets, not just the products or the services. L-com is a complete package."

L-com will receive the crystal award in coming weeks and will display it in the lobby of its North Andover, MA, office.
