Honeywell Plays Host to U.S. Ambassador in Australia

Honeywell Process Solutions in Perth, Australia, recently hosted the U.S. Ambassador to Australia Jeffrey Bleich and the U.S. Consul General in Australia Aleisha Woodward at the company’s simulation system at the Challenger Institute of Technology’s ACEPT (Australian Centre for Energy and Process Training) training facility.

Honeywell provided the U.S. Ambassador and Consul General with an overview of its process control simulation system that lets trainees practice in virtual environments before progressing to ‘live’ environments, where their technology skills ultimately ensure the safe and efficient procedures of automation systems used to run mining operations.

There is a rapidly expanding mining, energy, and resources industry taking place throughout Australia and even globally. Noting this expansion, the U.S. Ambassador to Australia remarked in recent blog post that Honeywell’s training facilities will help Australia fill its long-term need for highly skilled workers.
