HellermannTyton, a global manufacturer and supplier of network cabling solutions and cable management accessories, introduces a high-density patching solution for the quick installation of a MTP/MPO fiber optic network to a space-challenged data center.  Configured to support up to 288 fibers in one rack unit of space, this cassette-based solution optimizes space utilization making it the ideal solution for the availability of more resources in a smaller footprint, lower installation expenses, and a more efficient running network.  This compact cassette joins HellermannTyton’s high-performance RapidNet® factory tested and terminated network connectivity product line, which reduces installation time up to 85% and enables quick structured cabling deployment.

The Very High Density (VHD) Cassette from HellermannTyton uses a 72 strand fiber with 6 MTP connectors which minimize losses across the link and provide the potential upgrade path from 10GbE through 100GbE.

In addition to offering the advantages of saving valuable rack space and installation time, this high-density patching solution allows for easy access to connections and the panel provides fiber port identifiers for easier administration.

This new offering is available in a variety of fiber types, such as OM3, OM4 and OS1.

TURCK is now offering the option to completely shield M8 picofast ® cordsets by connecting a braided shield directly to the coupling nut. This provides a cost-effective and reliable connection with 100 percent cable and connector shielding, which protects against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.

The 3 and 4-pin cordsets are available with flexlife ® PVC or PUR jacketed cable. All connectors deliver IEC IP 67 protection.

The M8 picofast line, like most TURCK cordsets, provides male or female, straight and right angle connectors, standard and custom lengths, and pigtails or extensions. Fully encapsulated mating receptacles are also offered, completing the system.
