Milwaukee® Keeps Users Safe & Warm with High Visibility M12™ Heated Jacket

Milwaukee Tool Corporation will continue to expand their line of M12™ Heated Gear with the introduction of the new M12™ High Visibility Heated Jacket (2346 & 2347) in the Fall of 2012. With an ANSI Class III certification, the new Jacket meets or exceeds all jobsite and roadside construction standards to ensure user safety. Features such as a zip-in removable hood and a hidden inside pocket to facilitate custom embroidery maximize versatility for individual users and construction companies alike.

Like all other M12™ Heated Jackets in the system, the M12™ High Visibility Heated Jacket actively warms the body and stimulates blood circulation with three sewn-in carbon fiber heating zones on the chest and upper back to warm the user’s core in even the coldest jobsite conditions. This durable heating element can be set to high, medium, or low with a simple touch of a button on the lapel.

In addition, the M12™ High Visibility Heated Jacket features extra storage pockets on the chest and left arm to provide storage for the user’s cell phone, pens, badges, etc. All M12™ Heated Jacket are also water and wind resistant to provide comfort and durability in harsh environments.

Powered by M12™ RED LITHIUM™ battery technology, the new jacket is compatible with the entire M12™ System, now offering over 40 cordless Lithium-Ion products.  Hidden in a sleek back pocket, which can expand to hold an XC battery, the M12™ RED LITHIUM™ battery delivers superior runtime, with up to six hours of continuous heat on a single battery charge.

For users that are operating heavy machinery or riding recreational vehicles equipped with a standard 12v power outlet, Milwaukee will also introduce the Heated Jacket 12v DC Plug Adapter (49-24-2301) in the Fall of 2012. Compatible with all Milwaukee® Heated Jackets, the adapter utilizes a 7-foot coil cord for neat cord routing throughout the vehicle and will provide unlimited run-time.

Also available in the fall of 2012, the M18™ Power Source (49-24-2371) will be available to cater to the growing M18™ user base that demands increased jacket run-time. Compatible with both M18™ XC and Compact battery packs, this accessory will provide up to 18 hours of run-time on a single charge. Equipped with a Powered USB Port that will charge portable electronic devices, the M18™ Power Source will fit into any Milwaukee® Heated Jacket with the expanded battery pocket (all Season II and Season III Jackets).

The new M12™ Heated Jackets and accessories are a true testament to Milwaukee’s focus on the user and investing in game changing technology. Milwaukee will continue to offer innovative solutions in power, productivity and performance.
