Laird Technologies to Participate in 2012 TETRA World Congress
Laird Technologies, Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of customized performance-critical components and systems for advanced electronics and wireless products, today announced it will be participating in the 2012 TETRA World Congress. The conference will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 14-17, 2012.
Laird Technologies will showcase its current portfolio of industry-leading antenna solutions for the Public Safety and Land Mobile Radio markets including portable radio, mobile radio (vehicular), base station, and GPS antennas. A sampling of currently available products will be showcased, as well as a preview of three new and upcoming products: a high-performance LTE/EVDO/GPS antenna, vehicular MIMO antenna, and M8 vehicular antenna mount.
“Laird Technologies is very excited to be attending TETRA World Congress for the first time and also to be new members of the TETRA + Critical Communications Association (TCCA),” said Rob Antonio, Laird Technologies Product Manager for Public Safety Antennas. “The event gives us an excellent opportunity to preview our new antenna products for public safety radio communications. We will also have a selection of world standard radio antennas on display. These antennas are designed to survive the rigorous requirements of public safety and civil service applications.”
The Congress combines a comprehensive conference with interactive seminars, social events and the world’s largest exhibition of TETRA equipment and applications. The event provides attendees with the opportunity to network with the largest gathering of TETRA users, manufacturers, network operators, application developers and systems integrators from around the world. No other event attracts such a wide range of people who use, develop or distribute the TETRA standard.
As a global leader in the design and manufacture of antennas, Laird Technologies employs advanced, proprietary design tools to bring cutting-edge designs to market with unmatched performance that adds value in every application. These products include industry-best antenna solutions for fixed and mobile clients, base stations, wireless backhaul, portable radios, telematics and many other market segments.
