New Linx Website Improves User Experience

Linx Technologies, a developer and manufacturer of wireless products such as radio frequency (RF) modules, released its new website at www.linxtechnologies.com. The website features many user experience improvements as well as an updated look that reflects the company’s goal of making wireless simple for engineers of all skill levels.

The new website improves the user experience in several important ways: * More intuitive navigation and improved search make it easier to find information * Improved product descriptions require less technical knowledge and clearly state when, why and how to use the product * Product pages feature easier access to specifications, related products, documentation and application notes * Clean look reduces visual clutter

The release of the website coincides with the official release of the new Linx logo and look, which have already been featured in the packaging and documentation of the recently released NT Series RF transceiver module. Over time, Linx will update the look of all its advertisements as well as packaging and documentation for older products.

FUSE SIZING CONSIDERATIONS FOR HIGHER EFFICIENCY MOTORS

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
