First Full JTAG Isolation Emulator for TMS320C2000 DSP Devices from Texas Instruments

Today Signum Systems has announced a new emulator to support the Texas Instruments TMS320C2000 Digital Signal Processors (DSP).

The JTAGjet-C2000-ISO emulator is the first emulator of its kind to offer a fully isolated JTAG debug port to protect the emulator from ground loops, back EMF and other destructive elements present on high-current or high-voltage motor controllers or power metering systems.

The new emulator is compatible with Code Composer Studio 3.1 IDE, compiler and debugger suite and supports all current C2000 DSP family members, including the TMS320C24x, C240x, and C28xx devices.

JTAGjet-C2000-ISO is equipped with a USB 2.0 high-speed port for connection to any desktop, notebook or workstation PC to provide fastest-in-class download speeds.

JTAGjet-C2000-ISO may be ordered with Signum Systems’ Flasher-C2000 software to allow stand-alone Flash programming for the C2000 flash-based devices via a simple to use GUI or batch mode.
