Training Courses Enhance Thermal-Imaging Skills
Flir ITC is holding the first of two courses designed to prepare students for qualification as Level II thermographers and to teach them about infrared physics, heat science and infrared measurement. The course, running from 4-8 July 2011, is for those who already hold a Level I qualification but wish to deepen and broaden their knowledge. While Level I is principally aimed at new users of thermal-imaging cameras, Level II is designed for regular users who wish to extend their skill and confidence in the technology to maximise its potential.
The course includes measurement practice in various applications, reinforced by laboratory work and in-depth image analysis. According to Flir, all ITC instructors are experienced thermographers who not only have excellent theoretical knowledge of the subject but also practical know-how. On completion of the five-day course, the student will take an ITC certification test with the option to sit a further BINDT certification exam. The course will be held at the ITC Training North EMEA centre in West Malling, Kent. In addition to the above, courses can also be run on site anywhere within the UK and Ireland.
