Five-Axis Vice can Grip on to Just 3mm of Material

Roemheld operates a try-before-you-buy policy on all its five-axis vices and clamps, allowing users to evaluate the products while using them in their own production environments. The horizontal, seal-less pumps with a permanent magnet drive system are particularly suited to transferring corrosive acids and plating solutions in surface treatment and finishing applications. Similar in construction to the other pumps in the 3M range, C MAG-P models feature an isolation shell that effectively separates and seals the fluid chamber from the atmosphere.

The combination of this seal-less design and the use of corrosion-resistant materials, such as PP and PVDF, make them particularly suited to handling aggressive fluids occurring in the process and chemical industries. The range includes a choice of models offering flow rates of up to 120mc/hr, with heads up to 44m and maximum system pressure up to 6bar. Options include close-coupled drives and universal flange connections to meet DIN PN16 and ANSI 150 requirements. MAG-drive pumps from 3M have numerous applications - for example transferring acids, alkalis, hydrocarbons, heat-transfer oils, liquid gases and toxic or explosive chemicals in the industrial and chemical industries.

They are also suitable for pumping low-viscosity surfactants, acids and clean-in-place (CIP) chemicals in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. In the food and drink industries, they are useful for handling CIP chemicals such as sodium hydroxide, nitric acid and hydrogen peroxide and for pumping water treatment chemicals.
