Simulation Helps to Restore Corsair F4U Aircraft

Simulation software from Stampingsimulation has helped volunteer organisation Connecticut Corsair to restore a Corsair F4U fighter aircraft. The restoration of the Second World War aircraft is intended to provide a medium by which current and future students can be educated in the areas of maths, science and engineering.

The project is also designed to promote and develop the advanced manufacturing processes hosted by the local businesses in Connecticut. Stampingsimulation worked alongside the Corsair team to help form the parts right the first time.
