SMD Oscillators Now Available in Smaller Package
Total Frequency Control (TFC) has introduced a range of SMD oscillators with a differential output in a smaller package, suitable for Ethernet, microprocessor and general applications. Measuring 5.0 x 3.2mm, the OVT series is an industry-standard-sized package, with a compatible footprint and pin-out, offering a differential output of PECL or LVDS.
With an integrated phase jitter of only 200-300fs, the OVT series offers a phase noise of -138dBc/Hz (based on a typical 125MHz device), with an extremely low-current consumption from 16mA. It is available with a 2.5V or 3.3V supply voltage within a wide frequency range without a PLL or a multiplier of 40-200MHz.
