Energy Managers Provide Recording and Billing Data

Endress and Hauser's two new Engycal energy management units provide high-precision recording and billing information for steam mass, energy flow, heating and cooling in liquid heat-transfer systems. The Engycal RH33 BTU meter and the Engycal RS33 steam meter are designed to complement the company's range of data loggers and recorders (including the Memograph M RSG40 and the Ecograph T RSG30) and can be used with the new Field Data Manager (FDM) software for energy reporting and visualisation.

Endress and Hauser's FDM software is built on a secure SQL database and is claimed to enhance the company's energy monitoring solution by allowing automatic interval consumption data to be reported over any time period. The FDM software is currently available as a free three-month trial download. For customers wanting to purchase the software after the trial period, FDM is priced at GBP650. For more advanced data analysis, the FDM software can export data automatically to energy monitoring and targeting software such as Endress and Hauser's Esight.

With no limit on the number of devices that can be added, Engycal energy managers allow the user to implement a fully scalable and modular energy management system that can be adapted to the changing needs of any facility.
