Testo 350* Fluegas Analyser for Compliance Testing

testo 350: Official emissions measurements by means of intuitive instrument operation. Testo has developed a *new portable flue gas analyser which guides the user safely through flue gas measurements and analysis, by means of useful instrument pre-settings. The testo 350 analyser assists in the control and monitoring of officially prescribed emission limit values in flue gas, and in function tests on stationary emission measuring instruments.

Understanding what needs to be done before starting emission testing can challenge even the most experienced engineer. The new testo 350 emission analyser simplifies the procedure. The typical fuels and flue gas parameters are pre-set, reducing the amount of work needed to be done prior to measurement. Information in the display guides the user safely through the measurement.

Emission testing setup with the testo 350 involves only a few steps: selecting the right application, the fuel, the test type, starting the pump, and changing to the graphic sceen to view measurements and analysis. The measurement values are clearly presented in the large, colour graphic display of the control unit.

When selecting the proper fuse for short circuit protection in motor starting applications, it is important to not only ensure that the fuse will not nuisance open during motor start up times, but also that the fuse will coordinate as required with overload relays. When sizing fuses between 125% and 150% of the motor nameplate current, several advantages, including ease of coordination with an overload device, a smaller disconnect, and increased short circuit protection from a lower fuse rating, can be achieved.
