Custom Air Wound Coils

Targeted at Pagers, Mobile phones and High Frequency communication applications, Air cored inductors are now available from Total Frequency Control (TFC) in a variety of sizes, miniature, standard or Custom Wound with nH inductance. They have a very high Q, and are custom wound in gold, silver or copper wire.

Available as leaded or SMD these coils can be wound in a variety of different ways to suit the application and space constraints. Craig Wells, Marketing Manager said "We have winding facilities to wind coils straight, or with right angled bends. The turns may be wound tightly or more spaced out with internal diameters from only 0.3mm." TFC is fully compliant with RoHS legislation and its products are available immediately in full production volumes.
