Axflow Offers PTFE Full-Stroke Diaphragms for Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm Pumps

The increased stroke length of Wilden’s full-stroke PTFE diaphragms, for both Advanced and Original series air-operated double-diaphragm pumps, is claimed to provide flow, suction lift and efficiency comparable to rubber and Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) diaphragms.

The new full-stroke PTFE diaphragms also use the same shaft and hardware as Wilden rubber and TPE diaphragms, to ensure uncompromised performance and increased part commonality. This means that existing Wilden pump users will be able to retrofit the new diaphragms without the need for any extra components.

The full-stroke design of the diaphragms delivers increased product displacement per stroke, which, according to Axflow, produces greater flow rates and higher efficiencies than those attained by AODD pumps using reduced-stroke PTFE diaphragms.
