Axiomtek Introduces OPS860- Based on the 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ Processor for Ultimate Digital Signage Solution

Axiomtek is excited to announce the new release of OPS860, the ultimate digital signage solution based on the 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processor.  Intel OPS aims to provide greater interoperability and addresses fragmentation in the digital signage industry.  Axiomtek OPS860 is engineered to be installed into any Intel OPS-compliant digital signage platform to enable faster and easier upgrade/maintenance.  Equipped with the OPS860, your digital signage can be applied to a variety of DOOH (Digital-Out-Of-Home) applications with ease!

“Axiomtek’s OPS860 offers an innovative and simple way to strengthen your competitive advantage in the digital signage industry.  This powerful signage box measures only 180 mm (W) x 120 mm (D) x 30mm (H) in size for easy setup without any extra efforts.  This compact box features fast time-to-market so that operators can implement into the market quickly.” said Robert Wang, VP of Sales & Marketing of the Touch Panel Computer Business Unit at Axiomtek.

Intel Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) Compliance

Compliant with Intel OPS architecture, the OPS860 is easily interchangeable delivering interoperability and eases upgrading/maintenance in the field while lowering costs for development and implementation.

Great CoreTM i7 Computing Power

OPS860 utilizes superior Intel® Core™ i7 processor 2.1 GHz with Intel® QM67 PCH chipset.  The processor is based on rPGA socket giving it the flexibility to swap with other PGA sku including QC/DC (i7 & i5).  This provides significant increase in computing power, energy efficiency and graphics capability.

Intel® AMT (Active Management Technology) 7.0

Intel® AMT 7.0 features remote control and monitoring management, allowing for 24x7 accessibility when system upgrades need to be completed while reducing operating costs.

Easy-to-maintain HDD & DRAM

Operators can deploy OPS860’s pluggable HDD tray and easy-to-change DRAM faster and with ease, making upgrading/maintenance more efficient.
